Cool prototype and i like the ideas on display here !
The segemented mech animation is really good an i like how you made the aiming sorta "lookspring"
to help the gun reset to 0 without manual fiddling.
The destructible blocks are also gameplay element.
One funny thing though, is that considering your game's title, the level layout and what i remember from your previous Mech Jam entry i expected to have a key to get out of the mech to reach smaller areas and see if there was more to explore XD
Gotta applaude the effort of making this in one of those virtual computers like pico-8 :o cause that has to come with some serious limitations !
Can't really say anything negative, cause it's unfinished, and that's ok considering the jam's time and that there's still quite a bit here for a solo effort.
So keep at it this has an interesting base to build upon, good job dude :)
