very nice also i'm working on a tier list maker so that it may be easier for you get an idea of the meta. ill post the finished work here. i would suggest making a separate discussion for it so that people can post there.
You don't understand skimander, he is my second most favorite monster after tuskal+evolutions which should stand alone in S tier.
Skimander gets 5% damage for every speed you give him. Tizik can give skimander one speed per intelligence during the buff.
Kabu works well with krog for massive slams. The tree can give you two food every fight if you let the front die negating it with haunted.
i understand his power however i find him more of a annoyance then anything as i tend to follow a much more trinity style when making my comp. like the only time i enjoy using skimander is when i can get him a abilty replacement.
now one thing i think you havent noticied is the power of wyrmlet his two best forms are the str and balance ones. str one is my usual as it gives insane damage poetential and can easily make enemies have no mana.
IEarly thoughts after two/three days of playing the game. I dsagree on Gheist. It's not the best one, but it's cool. My best run was: Woad, Gheist and Hydrim, if I remember correctly.
Also, Strigeye is veeeeery powerful. A glass cannon incarnated. But I agree on Tuskal. It's broken XD
I also think that Skimander is powerful but requires the right setup (with Chip, for example).
I'm having so much fun with this game. The combinations are endless.
I'm sure after a while I will have a totally different tierlist, but we'll see.
Oh, also, I'm finding myself always playing with 3-4 monsters in the party. It's hard to have less or more than that, because minor stages really suffer toward the end in most fights. I don't know if it's intentional or not in the design, I just wanted to share. It's interesting.
Almost always I end up with 3 perfect monsters against the final boss.
