Hey that's a cool concept, that I have not seen anywhere else in the jam ! I like how you actually play the luck itself !
The only thing I don't find really clear here is your actual goal : I didn't really understand why I gained or lost popularity, nor what popularity actually meant, is it the dice that has a popularity ? I don't think it made a lot of sense. I think this game was already fun just as a toy where you get to judge people based on a vague description.
I gave me some ideas that could be interesting to explore : if you just focus on the idea that you are the dice, you could make a game where people play a board game, like for example a monopoly, and you decide which score players get at each turn. You need to help a specific player win, without being too unfair in order to prevent other players to notice and call you character a cheater...
Or you could turn it into a game in a world where life or death of condemned people are decided with the roll of a dice. You get the charges the person is accused of, some info about him, and then you decide if he lives or die. The popularity would become a judgement accuracy...
Final note : in your texture import settings you can set the filter mode to "Point" instead of bilinear or trilinear, it might remove the blurriness you have currently on your sprites.
Hope it helped !
