A really cool, goofy game. I enjoyed it a lot, but I would like to point out a few criticisms: One is that the detection for watering the crops isn't very good, you need to get close and it doesn't sync with where the water droplets go very much. Second is that I don't know what the lose state is - it isn't very obvious. Another one is that it's hard to keep track of when to switch between harvesting and planting mode - the game takes quite a bit of concentration already with watering and protecting the crops, so I would suggest a bot that plants and another that harvests? The last one is that the game is very zoomed in and feels quite claustrophobic, so I would pull the camera back a little and make the enemies spawn further away. I know all that makes me come off very negative, but I did very much enjoy the game, especially the personality! Keep going and making stuff!

Thanks for the feedback! To address the issues you saw:

  1. For watering, it's based on if you are inside the plot's collider, and if you are and right click, it enables the isWatered variable, and the water particle system, no matter the direction your facing.
  2. I meant to add a short tutorial to the game, but ran out of time, and you lose when a potato hits the AI. I'll be adding some more info to the itch page later today.
  3. The prioritization button isn't necessarily what the AI has to do, i.e. if you have harvesting selected, but there's nothing planted, it will plant seeds until one of them grows, at which point it will harvest until there are no more to harvest. Basically you can ignore that button if you want.
  4. I agree with you on this one, but I hadn't realized it till it was too late.
  5. I always appreciate constructive criticism, it's when people just say, "game bad, I no like it", that they come off as negative.
