The very cheap feel of the game combined with the terrain, textures and godawful sound effects definitely captured some nice jank. Though admittedly I think there are some issues that prevent it from living up to its SBIG potential.

As was recommended previously some movement or attack sounds for the slimes would be a great addition. The first time I was killed by a slime I didn't even know I was being attacked until I saw the death screen. The slimes aren't visible from the inside out, and there was no audio to cue me in. I was being pushed around a little bit but I thought it was collision with the terrain bugging out.

Once I figured out what to do I was able to win, in fact I got it down to about -9 slimes before I was killed in that oddly out of place village of upper class homes. Just having the ending be a "you win" screen and still allowing the player to move around and die is nice and janky but slightly disappointing. Like maybe having a picture of the unity bean player character with a glass of slime sitting on a porch with hit shotgun and bat next to him I think would've been hilarious!

The gameplay itself wasn't that bad, hitting slimes was ok, and the shotgun felt nice and impactful in how it could blast the slimes back. Again though it can be hard to get away from the slimes sometimes.

I think it was kinda fun and charmingly bad, though I think there's still room for (un)improvement.

Good job!
