Anyone else ever had this issue before?
LoL, well he went overboard because every background in the game including the main menu is like this.
Try Shift + G and setting the renderer to "Force ANGLE2 Renderer." Should be the third option down in the top left if the text is broken. (Works on corrupted text too.)
I forgot to add that you press "Quit" after selecting the renderer, (bottom left) then reopen the game.
