I was one of the official judges this year, and now that the results have been made public, and I'm free to do so, here is my score and thoughts on this title:

Overall score: 7

A touching game that was dedicated to a lost loved one. I will say, it felt a bit superficial and sugary sweet, and some of the dialog was a bit unbelievable in what most normal people would say on hearing about the death of a loved one. I also feel the interactive elements were kind of tacked on to make it feel more like a game and less like a visual novel. Still, it was sweet, and touching. I just wish it had a little more depth and choices affected the game more dramatically, as that is what the game seemed to be setting itself up for in the intro.

The game is about some of the many admirable moments in my brother's life, the choices are only made to vary the events a bit, however not to alter the ending, because it is based on real events, events that are not changeable. The dialogue that is reflected is 100% how my brother showed himself to others, that is why he was admired by many people, if it is not credible for you, I understand.
