i mean to write something similar someday where the idea is a time-saver so nice work beating me to it :) the retro look of yours is great but i dont think it suits this tool as it causes some limitations, some of which could be alleviated if we could maximize the window.
meanwhile, it does what it says on the box and i'm looking forward to any updates you might make; a couple on my wish list:
- let the text scroll the entire filename (marquee style) where a lot of sound packs contain similar names so we could use "all" of the filename to help find what we are looking for. the scrolling text notion would fit the theme of the design so i think it would be a nice addition all the way 'round.
- i mostly use .ogg so support for additional file types would be welcome.
