I like the idea of a background game. The art is nice, but the palette is really dark - it's on purpose? The simple shaped leaves falling from the big tree. In my opinion it would be nice to have the score visible at all times or even better, the counts of all the leaves by type. Increasing numbers can be really satisfying. I'm not sure about the lifes limit, I mean, I think it doesn't fit the background game which is not meant to focus on successes of fails, but to watch with barely giving few percents of your brain power. Overall, I think there is so much room for such games. Most are too engaging to play them while listening to podcasts that require your concentration. Is there even a genre like this? Well, good idea to promote it and start a new movement of Background Games.

First off, thank you for your detailed, constructive comment!
The palette is a colour palette I took from Lopsec to try to challenge myself- I rellay a lot on the contrast of light colors over dark colours. So yeah, I guess it is on purpuse.
Your point about score being visable is one I agree with- my friend have made a simmillar comment, about how it would be nice to have indevidual score on each basket. Now that the Jam is over, I could perhaps implement some of the great ideas offered by the comments.
I don't think there ISN'T a background game genre, perhaps by other name (casual game?) I play games while listening to other things all the time, especially when they are hard games that take me many tries or games i have multiple walkthroughs in. I wanted to make one which is even easier than most because when I was sick I couldn't play my usual games, but I wanted to keep my hand busy.
Thank you for taking your chance on Falling!
