This was so good! :D I feel like it's one of those stories that would work really well as a full-length horror movie :3
The sprites are gorgeous, and I know you said the backgrounds and stuff are creative commons assets, but I think they're great choices because they all suit the story really well.
And then there's the soundtrack which was fantastic :3 My personal favourite tracks were the one that starts playing in basement 2, and then the one that starts playing during the reveal. But I love the soundtrack as a whole!
I really appreciate the fact that you mentioned Groovepad on the game page because I need to check that out now, haha. I haven't heard of it before, but in recent years, I've started trying to make soundtracks for my projects, have fallen in love with the process, and am always looking for new ways to try to make music since I'm not educated in it and don't really know what I'm doing, haha. At the moment, I just use Audacity and FLStudio (free/trial version) to make tracks by editing and piecing together loops and samples from looperman.com or from music producer packs that I've gotten from Humble Bundles like a big musical puzzle! Groovepad looks really cool to use :3
Anyways, I only have 1 ending so far, and I'm a little worried that saying the name of it will possibly count as a spoiler, so I'll just say it's the one starting with the letter P, haha. Gotta go back through and see if I can get the others though!
Also, I loved the attention to detail with Angelica's sprite changes, but I won't say more than that because again, I don't want to spoil anything accidentally!
Awesome job <3

Thanks you so much for this wonderful feedback! I'm really glad you liked it :D
I'm still learning about making soundtracks so Groovepad was perfect for my abilities. Thanks for sharing a your music making process too! I'm still trying to figure a lot of this out so it helps to see how others do it.
I saw you have two games in the jam. They both look beautiful and I'll be checking them out soon!
Yeah, I'm still trying to figure stuff out as I go too, and I'm always learning new things :3 I try to make it one of my goals to learn at least 1 new thing every time I take part in a jam, even if it's just something small, haha.
I haven't tried it yet, but I looked into Groovepad a little, and it seems like something pretty user-friendly, and if the results are like what you got with your soundtrack, well, I mean, I'm no expert, but I thought it sounded really professional and I loved it :3
Yeeeeah, that probably wasn't the wisest decision I ever made in my life to attempt a 2 for 1 for the jam >.< haha. I do love a good challenge, but I think maybe that was a bit of a step too far, and I'm paying for it now because even though I've been getting decent sleeps since the submission stage finished, I've still felt so tired every single day since, haha. It's not something I'd do again, put it that way xD
