I quite enjoyed this little game. The writing, the art and the atmosphere were all spot-on. The beginning sparked my interest and I was surprisingly engaged all the way through. It even had me spooked when it turned scary midway through. I was hoping that the end would keep going!
There were some problems that shouldn't be too hard to fix (if you have the energy, it's completely understandable if you don't). Mainly: issues with collision (primarily in the living room), confusion regarding what to do (I had to figure out how to use items independently), sprites on the wrong layer (the two plants near the end were on top of the character). But that's it! And given that it was a first-time solo game jam it was really good.
Also, put more screenshots up! I had no idea what to expect but an rpgmaker game with lovely custom sprites & custom tilesets, scripted events, puzzles and well-written dialogue I did not anticipate! I positively adored it.
