Nice job on your first game jam submission! Making games, especially 3D ones, in such a short period of time is no easy task, so you should be proud of what you've put together. I especially liked the low-poly aesthetic and the way the light reflects when you move the camera. The models, animations, and set pieces all looked great and were well implemented!
I played to the end (at least, I think it was the end - I couldn't find any more enemies to defeat), and I can think of a few small tweaks that would make the game feel better as a player:
- Since you're only controlling one character in this game, it would make more sense to automatically have them selected so that the player doesn't have to do that.
- Indicators of who's getting hit and when would be super helpful. I couldn't tell if some of my shots were landing or not because there was no change visually or audibly. A sound effect, blood particles, a different animation, or a flash of light/screen shake are all different and (relatively) easy ways to help the player make sense of what's happening.
- I felt like the player's run speed wasn't much faster than the walk speed, and it made the character look like he was slipping on ice instead of running.
- A win/lose screen and an easy way to reset the game are all very helpful. I had to reopen your game every time I died so I could try again, which can be frustrating to some.
This is a really great start to game making, though, and I hope you continue to enter more game jams in the future!
