I like your Thanksgiving oriented take on the gourd theme. Halloween was the obvious one and my first idea, but considering the deadline was the end of October, Thanksgiving is more timely for the November voting period.

I did see one error in that about half the time I jumped on the hatch and clicked Dive, there was an (error code?) at the top of the screen. Did not effect the game too much, since it normally worked after clicking a second time.

Thanks for the review! I first thought about making a Halloween game where you are a little kid trying to make your way through a corn maze without getting caught by the evil Jack'o Lantern. But, I shifted to a Thanksgiving theme a few days in. I wanted to emulate the hand-in-the-cookie-jar feeling of trying to get as much stuff as you can without getting caught.

Was this the error you encountered when trying to exit the game?

That's the dive button. Sorry, I didn't spend that much time on the controls. The hotkey for diving is currently backspace (to be changed after the jam). It's strange that you would be able to jump in with the two taps of the space key. I didn't intend to implement it that way, but maybe it slipped past me.

Right now I'm working on making each farm hand have unique behavior (like the ghosts in Pacman, which was an inspiration for this game). Stay tuned for Turkey Runner Remastered!

No. I could tell the dive button was supposed to be there (and forgot I had to click it instead of pressing space, I'll correct my post so as not to confuse people). Sometimes, the first time I clicked it, there was a line of white text below it -- it might have been a filepath as opposed to an error. I tried to recreate it, but had no problems this time. It was a few days ago I played the game. Did you upload a bugfix in the past few days? Maybe its already fixed.

Was this it?

I didn't implement any built-in error messages, so if this isn't it, it's probably from itch.io or Godot (the game engine). I didn't update the game (I don't think I'm allowed to while voting is taking place), but if this is the message, I can re-theme/remove it to reduce confusion after the voting period.

I believe it was something like that. I think this jam does allow fixing of significant bugs, which is why I had considered the possibility of an update being why I was no longer seeing it because it could have gotten fixed along with something else.
