Fuck paywalls.

(+3)

man's gotta make money if he wants to keep working on it

(+4)(-1)

isn't it enought for you to be able to play previous version of the last for free?!!

(-12)

Digital content should NOT be allowed to have a price tag attached to it.

(+2)

Then how are they going to make money? Even with donations this game has a small playerbase, I don't think that donations would happen very often.

(-8)

There are other ways of making money that doesn’t involve paywalls. I.E. Getting a real job.

(+4)

so creating games isn't a job? tell me way you pay to watch a film but you won't pay to play a game!!!

(+3)

Just ignore the dude, it takes a special kind of mindset and entitlement to think that one should make something that requires effort and time for free.

(-4)

And you can fuck right off too. DO NOT TEST ME.

you need to big time chill. look, we all hate paywalls a little. that doesn't mean that they aren't necessary. it's a bit different, but it's like playing a demo and then dropping 20 bucks for the game on steam or similar. at the end of the day, people gotta make money, we don't have to agree with it but that doesn't change the fact that bills have to be paid. that being said, they are still nice enough to include free releases, no one HAS to give out free content but they can. just enjoy that the entire game isn't behind a paywall.

(-7)

I don’t. That’s what youtube is for. It should be illegal to put a price tag on a thing I can’t touch.

(+1)

Replying here 'cuz the dude is venting, haha, just ignore him.  Dude doesn't deserve your time or attention.

thanks for the help *thumb up*

(+2)

so video games, tv shows, movies, digital copies of books/comics/manga/etc, art, etc should be free despite all the effort that goes into them?

Grow up and start living in the real world, child. I bet you're not even old enough to be playing this, your mindset is that of an immature little brat that thinks the world revolves around them.

I don’t have a problem with people getting paid for their work. I have a problem when that payment is mandatory. I have a bigger problem when the software I paid for doesn’t work because it requires a 4090 to not crash my display driver or when it has bullshit DRM inside.

"I have a problem when that payment is mandatory." ~someone complaining about civilized society itself.

I bet you don't bitch like this when you buy a game on steam. which is mandatory payment. also I played the demo of this on my laptop just fine, as weird as the content was, so it absolutely doesn't need a 4090 (which is a developer card, not a gamer card). You're just looking for reasons to cry and complain about something I bet you don't even actually care about.

(-5)

I pasted the code verbatim from this page and nothing happens anyways. Your game doesn’t work.

There’s this thing that has existed in UI systems since UI systems have existed. I don’t remember what it’s called. You move an arrow to a box or text and push the left mouse button and it does something (I.E. start a level?) Was it called a button or something?
