Quick question too, with a compilation of the archive being in a PostgreSQL format, should I use the programme mentioned to nab out all the files from within? Or what would be the concise and definitive set of instructions on how to make use of the assets in question-- or should I just really be only aiming for the aforementioned stamp tools (duh)? I'd like to see the other sets, and am just an absolute, for lack of better terms; n00b to this stuff, not to mention trying to get this all working on a Macintosh XD
okay after you download his clients (that you can find on this forum)
You'll need these https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/907114386697646130/982132315260059688/Sta...
When you insert them in the game, there will be 3 models named Workspace, Lighting and StarterGui
NOTE: gage messed up and called the model StarterGui instead of StarterPack.
Then, taking the workspace model for example:
Cut the workspace model,
Paste it in Workspace,
Ungroup it too (I don't know if it's necessary but I do it like that)
And then do that for the other 2 models.
REMEMBER THE STARTERGUI/STARTERPACK THING I SAID EARLIER
for anything I can do, let me know :)
Thank you so much! I've used the client(s) you've instructed me on using to test it out, and it works almost as good as it did then, my only question, as for the wiring stuff, should I use the "fixed" stamp tools to substitute the broken ones as the other ones that weren't the stamp in the "fixed" in-box Novetus stamp tools worked? I'd love to hear more! And another thing I've noticed too about the current Novetus clients included, for whatever reason (and this being a Mac to Crossover issue) my mac cursor wouldn't go away and keep showing up no matter what I do with the actual window itself, but with the RBLXLegacy clients this issue had seemingly not shown it's ugly head. Not that I'd want there to be a fix for the Novetus clients given this is a mac/emulator specific issue, but was wondering if there are more RBLXLegacy clients out there that I could use in the meanwhile too!
Oh, I mean the tools are there (with the exception of the tool/gear models being present, but I think assetfix shall take care of that), but the wiring tools/rotate tools don't seem to work, the stamp tool being the only one working however. As for clients, Austiverse's (if that's gage?) 2012/2013 clients work favourably, and without the strange system cursor (my Mac cursor in this case) showing up in full screen mode, unlike in the the out of box clients included with Novetus. Does gage (or Austiverse?) happen to have clients 2007-2011 that work just as well? I'd like to get in contact with him just so I can work with non-mouse-buggy clients. I have to say thank you so much thus far!
i'm trying to follow this tutorial myself matt and i just gotta say you explain it so weirdly dawg ☠☠
i insert the Stamper_Tools.rbxm and it's just a bunch of scripts in the workspace that i have no clue if i should keep it there; which is accompanied by a StamperForAustiblox thing with the workspace and lighting scripts that you have to ungroup and put it all into the workspace
but what after that? just a bunch of workspace scripts and nothing else. i want the actual stamper tool to work, you know? no actual gears are provided, just scripts. if i missed something, tell me jfc
first of all, these are austiblox's stamper tools and they only work for 2012M (I don't know if this only works in their client).
I think that the workspace stuff should be in workspace, lighting should be in lighting and probably startergui should be in starterpack because I don't see why tools should be put in starter gui. I mean try, or else join austiblox
dude i know it works in 2012M, i'm using their client
even if i put the workspace and lighting scripts in their respective places, there's still no gear or whatever. it's just scripts dawg
and plus there's no startergui script or whatever, and if you're talking about the actual startergui somehow, then that wouldn't make sense
there are no tools, only scripts
no way, try redownloading this https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/907114386697646130/982132315260059688/Sta...
there should be 3 different models: workspace, lighting and starter gui.
Workspace scripts in workspace
lighting scripts in lighting
and the tools in the starter gui model in the starterpack, probably they typed it wrong
