This game is insanely cool, the retro aesthetic is really impressive and the sheer amount of content in one room is also insanely cool. There is just so much content and almost every little detail in the room can be inspectable. I'm still wondering how you accomplished moving around the scene from a programming standpoint. I'm still debating against whether you made some shaders that rendered a 3d scene to look like its from the gameboy era or whether you hand drew tons of scenes which seems even more impressive. The accurate minimap was also really cool it allowed people to actually move around the game without getting lost in the retro esque controls. The music was really mysterious and also felt very retro which i can never complain about. Overall I can't come up with many complaints for this game other than inspecting items should maybe be left to the mouse. You could keep the arrow key controller as is so that people without a mouse can play but it makes the game extremely slow paced to play although i know doing this might ruin some of the retro feel of the game. Also maybe make the player on the map a little bit more marked, i got a little bit confused on where i was because the icon was a little small.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed. As for the artwork, they are 3D renders which are scaled down, dithered, color indexed, and then redrawn in parts where I thought it was necessary. I will definitely look into adding mouse controls, I think it would be a better play experience for the browser version. Thanks again! :)
