Actually, I think I know what you mean. While the cursor changes, you don’t actually see the vegetables moving until you let go. It’s on the list, but just didn’t quite make the cut for the jam :)

Hey yeah that's it - especially while the tiles are still moving it feels like it's a delayed response. Other match 3 games solve that by showing you what you're doing 1:1 (so the tiles switch instantly) but they still wait to resolve the move until all the tiles have stopped moving. It's the illusion of instant feedback for the user while still allowing the game to flow correectly.
