Peak score 1607! I love the music, art, and the mechanics.  It's extra satisfying when new row comes in and they just align on their own! I have a feeling this would make a nice mobile game as well.

Developer

Thank you 🙏 I bet with a few more goes you can get a much higher score 😎

I actually play the game on my phone, and it works very well. I have heard that it doesn’t work great on older phones in the browser, so I may well consider doing Android and iOS builds.

The sun as visual timer is a really nice idea :)

Developer

Thanks, Maestro ☺️

Very well executed! I like how the music and color palette blend in a very relaxing atmosphere. Keep it up!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I’m pleased with the way the sun ray blend worked out and @Alyblucat did a phenomenal job with the music.

The point generating sound was very satisfying, especially when it goes on for what it seems ages, meaning its a wonderful combo-chain :-) I really like how you implemented the time limit not by a timer/clock running out, but using the sun for visualizing passing time. Now that i’ve seen your work, I actually think about how we could have implemented such a feature for our own game. Anyway, back to yours: very well done, Marc! :-)

Thank you 🙌. I’m glad you liked it.

I played your game and can see how you could’ve used something similar to the sun 🌅 (and I loved the different endings in your game)

WOW, I really loved this game. Nice concept and very relaxing.

Developer

Thank you so much. I’m glad you loved it 🙌

The assets are wonderful and the relaxing music make very pleasant to play. I love how the timer is figurated by the sun displacement, and that you can restart the game by clicking anywhere on the screen. Great work !

Developer

Thank you, I’m glad you liked it :)

Its very satisfying getting a chain of harvests and I like the shifting colors and light angles of the background.

Developer

Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Such a fun, chilled out game. Love the vibe. The music, the sound effects. It’s just relaxing, even with the 20s time limit. Nice job on the polish all around! So satisfying when there’s a combo.

Developer(+1)

Ah, I missed your post. Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it.

I love the chill vibe of this game. Usually, with match 3, we just want to go very fast, but here, with the quiet music, the soft graphics and this beautiful race of the sun, we just want to take our time and enjoy it.
Great job !

Developer

You should still go fast :p Thanks for the great feedback.

Great game. The timer is beautiful (praise the Sun!), and the music is just perfect.

I'm addicted and somehow got lucky enough to get a high score of 8877.

Developer(+1)

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoy it and that’s a pretty decent score. Praise the sun 🙌 🌅

Very nice vibe! Don't get too much responsiveness from pulling the tiles on mouse but otherwise great and quite polished!

Thanks 🙌 Glad you liked it.

Don’t get too much responsiveness from pulling the tiles on mouse

Can you explain what you mean here? How could it be better? (I love feedback that helps me improve my games).

Developer(+1)

Actually, I think I know what you mean. While the cursor changes, you don’t actually see the vegetables moving until you let go. It’s on the list, but just didn’t quite make the cut for the jam :)

Submitted(+1)

Hey yeah that's it - especially while the tiles are still moving it feels like it's a delayed response. Other match 3 games solve that by showing you what you're doing 1:1 (so the tiles switch instantly) but they still wait to resolve the move until all the tiles have stopped moving. It's the illusion of instant feedback for the user while still allowing the game to flow correectly.

I agree the timer is awesome. Nicely executed game, well done. 4804. Like the fact that you keep the high score.

Developer

Thank you 🌅

relaxing and charming match-3 game! it’s well executed. the triangles in the background that link to the sun and the changing of colors is very cool, and it’s a creative way to show a timer. good job!

Developer

Thanks 🙌

The colour changing background wasn’t originally planned, but I noticed when playing it that I had no idea how much time I had left when I was concentrating on the game grid and so it was born :)

The music is nice and calm.

The sounds effects of the vegetables falling is oddly satisfying. This is one of the few game that I would play past 20 seconds if that was an option

Submitted

It's a solid match 3 game! I like it.

Developer

Thank you 🙌

This is great!  I wanted the 2x2's to score.  Music, graphics, and sfx are all solid. /thumbsup

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks, Xed. Hehe, no match for 2x2’s but double points if you match 5 or more in one move. What’s your high score?

Submitted

Definitely scored one in the 2400's.  I have the version with the 4,704 high score in it, so I'm not sure.
