AI is actually very primitive, basically just A* path finding with some waypoint randomization to make movements less predictable. I actually was surprised how well it worked for this game.
As for switching weapons and tutorial - those are good suggestions. I was planning to have key mapping configuration in settings, but just didn’t have time for it before the original deadline.
And as for candy cane: it delivers damage at the end of animation. It probably feels off just because the animation is not so good :)
