I've only been playing these games for about 10 minutes each. In ten minutes I walked down a road, killed two cops and a tank, doing the same attacks over and over again. I think this needs a lot of work to be fun.
I'll change up the starting map to make it more exciting in the future. SRPGs are slower games, but I should add something to spice it up.
