The visuals are top notch, both in execution and concept. Letty with a hockey stick made out of ice? Yes please. The win and loss sprites are also great, and they only show up for a few seconds each game. A lot of effort clearly went in here, and its worth playing the game for that alone.

The game itself is interesting. At first, it felt frustrating and random, but there is definitely a skill to it, like how you can move around on your side of the field to create denser bullet patterns using the Doppler effect, and how this open up lines for you to hit the goal depending on where the puck is. However, I feel that the way your character gets stunned might be violating some design principles for mouse-controlled games, since I often unintentionally hit the puck when the stun ended and the character violently flew to the mouse position. This is the only real problem the game has as far as I can tell, and its partly a skill issue.

Also, playing against the AI almost felt like playing against a real person. Good job there. The AI also seem to have problems with unintentional hitting the puck after the stun, so it feels fair, and is much less frustrating than it could have been if the AI also obviously cheated. Overall, it's impressive for a jam game.
