Good game. I understand what it's like to be really hard on yourself, though not to the extreme of the MC. I glanced at your devlog and agree the new font was a much better match for this game. The original font was more the style of a fancy royal court or cute girly romance game.
I don't think the story needs any improvement, though if you ever get time, rechecking spelling and grammar would really improve the experience. Most of what I noticed was minor, like near the beginning of the game, you typed "Inbetween" instead of "In between" and I think at some point you typed "seem" instead of "seemed" or something to that effect. I had similar issues myself once for a text heavy game I thought I had proofread well until a commenter let me know I there were several jarring errors, like spelling "guard" as "gaurd" and occasionally typing NCP instead of NPC. O.O
