Wow, well I wasn't expecting a partial recreation of my university experience but damn, here it is. I am no stranger to pulling all-nighters and just general lack of sleep, even after graduating. Though admittedly I never was the same type of overworked perfectionist with strict parents, so I didn't quite view the similar events through the same lens. Which is admittedly a small point against my immersion into the player characters head, but its incredibly subjective so I don't imagine others would have quite the same issue.
I enjoyed the story overall, and the sort of downward spiral I've sadly seen play out with several people I've known. But I do wish there was a bit more choice in the story, as was mentioned in another comment the only choice that really makes any difference is the last one.
As for a future release of this game I'd only suggest giving a couple passes of the dialogue to check for typos and grammatical errors. Aside from that I think this is a good, if a bit fittingly depressing, slice of life game. And I say that as someone who really doesn't get into visual novels much.
Good game. I understand what it's like to be really hard on yourself, though not to the extreme of the MC. I glanced at your devlog and agree the new font was a much better match for this game. The original font was more the style of a fancy royal court or cute girly romance game.
I don't think the story needs any improvement, though if you ever get time, rechecking spelling and grammar would really improve the experience. Most of what I noticed was minor, like near the beginning of the game, you typed "Inbetween" instead of "In between" and I think at some point you typed "seem" instead of "seemed" or something to that effect. I had similar issues myself once for a text heavy game I thought I had proofread well until a commenter let me know I there were several jarring errors, like spelling "guard" as "gaurd" and occasionally typing NCP instead of NPC.
