Wow, well I wasn't expecting a partial recreation of my university experience but damn, here it is. I am no stranger to pulling all-nighters and just general lack of sleep, even after graduating. Though admittedly I never was the same type of overworked perfectionist with strict parents, so I didn't quite view the similar events through the same lens. Which is admittedly a small point against my immersion into the player characters head, but its incredibly subjective so I don't imagine others would have quite the same issue.

I enjoyed the story overall, and the sort of downward spiral I've sadly seen play out with several people I've known. But I do wish there was a bit more choice in the story, as was mentioned in another comment the only choice that really makes any difference is the last one.

As for a future release of this game I'd only suggest giving a couple passes of the dialogue to check for typos and grammatical errors. Aside from that I think this is a good, if a bit fittingly depressing, slice of life game. And I say that as someone who really doesn't get into visual novels much.
