Great job! The character controller feels SUPER tight, really impressive stuff. Unfortunately it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the coins refresh your dash but after I discovered that the game was much more fun/intuitive. Perhaps tutorializing it slightly more would help a lot. I especially loved comboing dashes with collecting coins like it was Shinespark comboing in Metroid. Congrats on the great jam!
