I haven't played the game yet, but I absolutely had to drop you a line to say that your pixel art is outstanding, and I'm going to need - yes, need - to see what you come up with next 👍👍
(I mean, she literally looks like furry Elvira: I like the second half of that combo, and I shan't take anything away from those who are into the first...!)
It was pretty tough trying to make her look fancy enough with how tiny the resolution is. I also wanted to give her a bushy tail as well, but I ran out of the miniscule amount of sprite space available in Pico-8 to squeeze one in.
Working with GB Studio, I'm finding the thought process regularly comes back to "well if I duplicate these tiles here, it frees up extra tiles I can use over there", et cetera, et cetera 😵
