I was actually wrong in my report, I assumed it was an issue with events due to some of my menus working fine. But it seems the crash actually happens only when in basic menus, not when variables update.
I am also getting this issue as well. After I leave a shop, it crashes. I would buy the pro version if there can be a fix for this.
