First, the start menu is excellent! Nice and polished with the instructions up front, colorful and blinking.
The game feels very polished. Nice bits of feedback between the SFX, popping animation, screenshake when you pop a bubble you shouldn't...it's very clear what is happening. Very well done.
The mechanic of having the bubbles that you shouldn't pop change based on the environment is a nice little twist!
I wonder if introducing some type of power ups or something would be a way to extend the longevity to introduce new twists? Or, instead of an "endless runner", have discrete levels that introduce different types of challenges (maybe different bubbles, different movement patterns, obstacles, etc).
But I understand that's all very out-of-scope for a jam game, I think what you have here is an excellently packaged, polished game for a jam. Nice job!
