I'm a fan of this. For the levels are there basically a set amount of rooms and then the start and end points get shuffled around? And what determines the order of the levels?
Anyways I thought it was a cool idea to have the levels changing around however they were and the movement mostly felt good. The background effects and stuff also add a lot to the game visually to make it look polished
Things to improve:
- I feel like theres a decent amount of potential head bonking in the levels, which can be the wrong kind of difficult.
- imo the jump would feel better if the jump height was variable based on how long you hold jump
- Landing on platforms could be a more generous (there were a lot of times where I thought I was gonna land on a platform but barely missed)
- The animation for jumping looked out of place. Idk how to describe it but it just felt silly compared to the vibe of everything else]
Overall I did genuinely enjoy playing this game and found myself playing to beat my record instead of just playing till I know enough to write a review, which is a really good sign
Update: I got to 39... so close
