Oh no! I missed the freezing. May I ask what upgrade you took? I'll look into it (after ratings, of course).
I also had it freeze at 11,185 points. I picked the player movement speed up 3-4 times in a row and it froze on selecting the last one I believe. It may have frozen when the menu came up though.
