Interesting concept. It took me a couple tries to understand what was going on but once I got it then it was fun :) I do wish I had more lives or some way to avoid instadeath. I can see this being developed further into a really fun game with lots of strategic gameplay.

After dieing it seems that the controls are borked so you have to restart game.

Clean and nice graphics with good looking pixel art cards and pleasant sound!

Nice and snappy movement controls even though I would also prefer to be able to move with arrows and/or numpad. Nice touch with the small animation when you bump into a wall.

The perspective could've been improved a little bit. Because of the small tile size the player can't see parts of the floor and corners on the current tile and that makes orientation a little bit more difficult.

I am not sure I got the theme interpretation. The unique concept was good but where is the duality?

Thanks for the comment!

We slightly overestimated our strength, so we decided to give up most of the content and made the last versions on the last day of the jam. We did not have enough time for testing, as the page was created 2 minutes before the end of the jam, so there are some bugs, including critical ones. We plan to support the project, so they will be fixed soon and this version will be present as it should be, but not on this page.

Confronting black with white is a common practice, and therein lies the ambiguity. Moreover, once you get to the end, there's something else interesting to learn. I could tell you everything, but that wouldn't be interesting, would it?

Ahhh. I should've seen it. Black vs white. Thanks for explaining :)
