The art was lack luster but I suppose you can't see it for long. Perhaps if the game started in a dimly lit environment before everything went black, then you wouldn't be able to make out the art as well.

The rocks and trees making sounds when I get near them just sounded weird. Maybe bushes that make sounds when you walk through them would have made more sense?

It was hard to tell how close the gate was when its SFX played, unlike the items which were much easier to hear.

The low droning sound that increases in volume before abruptly stopping when you collect the item was fairly satisfying.

Overall for  game made in 2 days, it was pretty cool.

Thanks for the feedback!

I noticed the trees and other things making noise made it more cluttered, and I probably could have done something about that.

The shed also looked pretty bad, I literally just used ms paint instead of making actual textures lol.

I think my original idea of the trees and rocks making noise was to know if you got stuck on them. They would be more of an obstacle, but in the end, they didn't really do much. In a few of my playthroughs, I'd get stuck on the tree stumps, and I'd know because the footsteps stopped and I heard the sounds. However, all the other obstacles didn't do anything.

For some of the obstacles like monsters, I'd add some kind of music with the monster noises so you'd know where they were when they weren't growling. I probably could have done this for the gate too.

I definitely could have done the audio-navigation concept better, so I might make a similar game in the future or have more updates. Thanks for playing!
