You know what, I'm gonna add an easy mode on my games from now on. After playing some jam games with that option, I think it's for the best in the end. You got like 0.3 seconds of actual parry time so I can understand why you and some people struggle, I'll try to add that mode at the end of the jam. Thanks for the feedback.
