Yep, basically if there's no room to move the cat will get stuck, and your turn will never come. I thought I put something in case that happenned but I put = dt instead of += dt for the timer.

If you line up the X, your attack WILL hit. I guess you mean if the enemy can counter attack or not? In that case yeah I indeed need to make it a bit more intuitive. Though I wanted to make it similar to chess where you have to create all the possible moves within your mind.
Perhaps an encyclopedia showing the range of each enemy would be best. Thank you for playing!

Sometimes it's janky but that makes it even funnier. Nothing is more threatening than a rumbling bloc of wood going at mach 5 and reappearing in front of you.
I really like the dialogue of the lady. Made me giggle a couple of time. It was a bummer when she started to repeat herself tho.
Nicely done.

Nice programming game. Would work great with kids to teach the basics!

I really like that game. I think it's the best scaling a mountain game of the jam!
Very well done sir!

Damn softlock, I just fixed it and it was a weird edge case! Post jam update should fix it.
The ending scene is a really small thing. But I find it fitting for an ending.

Thanks! I love your game, it's an honor!

I did not stopped laughing one second once I got the 2nd upgrade, look at the size of that lad!

It was hilarious to play! Bahahaha

Making me blush

Yeah the control scheme was not something I expected people to criticize. I changed it to something I believe to be better.

And thank you,  I think you're awesome too.

Took that into account, I changed the control scheme, it should now be more familiar.

And thank you that means a lot.

Changed it for ya

Not quite 'cause you could abuse it in certain ways.
But you did give me an idea! Yeah I could do what you said but just only if they fall after the other checkpoint.

That game has a lot of style! I'm totally gonna take inspiration from you!
Plus nice concept! Plus it's fun! Plus I think it's at least a top 3! if not first!

At first I was confused when you said you wanted less choice. And then I ponder for a bit and it could actually be interesting to have a category where you only have to use one gun and make the best out of it. I'll keep that in mind thanks, that and controller support!

Saying that it could make a good Steam game is a high level compliment thank you!
I really liked making that game and playing it as well, I think it could maybe be a good first commercial project.
I'll try having a better difficulty curve and a tutorial in the full release (if there is one)
Thank you for writing that comment.

Here's the catch you can finish the game by using just one gun BUT with you wanna go fast you have to use all of them. I should have shown a little video in game to show you all the trick that could be made but at the same time I wanted the player to figure that one out. I'll keep that in mind though thank you.

I just got reminded of another game which made exploration and multiplayer a perfect mariage.
Play Sky Children Of The Light. It's a MMO version of The Journey and the communication of this game could maybe be put in your game as well!

Really creative game! Solid Presentation!

Nothing bad to say about it... it's a really clean game!

Presentation is top! And the theme was nicely respected. And making a multiplayer game in 2 days deserves nothing but praises! But I have some criticism to say for that game. I believe the Camera to be too zoomed in and that there is either, way too many planets, or, the gravity is way too violent.

But the concept is really really cute. And since I really like that concept and you seems to want this to be a long term project. I'm gonna be a bit presumptuous and try proposing a different approach to that idea.

I believe the gameplay is too energetic and the scale is way too big for that game to work as intended. The chance of finding someone's constellation are really low! Perhaps having a gallery with all constellation that have been found with some sort of "like" system could work best. As for the "Explore the cosmos together"... I felt a bit lonely in that game. The only thing that reminded I was in a multiplayer game was the "last constellation found" above my screen. Having a minimap with arrows pointing to player's constellations and/or other player could maybe work best. I'd say scrap that gravity mayhem and replace that with another less tiring gameplay loop with a tchat system.
I think you could get some inspiration from that game https://ynoproject.net/2kki/ You explore a dream world with your friend which is a similar setting in a way.

I wish you the best with that game!

Overall very clean game!
Your use of the tile set is better than mine, it was funny seeing someone use the same assets as me but in a different way! Solid 4.25/5

It's quite challenging that's for sure! The level design and gameplay were very solid! Though presentation wise I found the tileset to be a bit too bland, but the ship animation were fine.
Would be interesting to speedrun it, I think it's a solid top 10% at least!

If you want a suggestion since we could "browse the submission" maybe a couple mini game about exploration would've been cool. And perhaps after completing all of them you can finally start playing the game and it's a sort blend of every game you played... like it takes one element of each mini game and turn it into something new.
Could be really cute and neat.

Well I sure did some exploring, though it lacked something, I like the backroom vibe and the music gave it a nice mood overall!

Cute conccept! Lacks a bit of content but for a 2 days jam it's really well polished!

How the  heck did I not think of that, it's literally just putting 2 and 2 together. That gives some risk vs reward kinda stuff which the game was lacking!
Thanks for the idea!

Ah yes a fellow reverse horror game maker! Really nice aesthetic, though I found it lacking in term of gameplay. I don't blame you because I couldn't do much better than this either aside by adding a score counter!

As said previously the removal and placing of the block is a bit weird. But I liked the concept and the execution regardless

Damn I guess it is like that game didn't know it existed!

Damn, you're right, we really had the same concept! We even have similar mechanics! Your execution is better gameplay wise, my NPC just wander around aimlessly while yours have tasks to accomplish.

Thanks for the feedback. And yeah I do agree that it misses something, I added a score to fill that void but that didn't seems to do it....
You could generate some stamina by filling a fear bar and it would give you one tick but it was not a good idea in the end.
Not gonna lie it was a humbling experience trying to make that game works.

lacks a bit of polish but I like the level design!

The art is sublime for a 2 day game! Well done! And the music is a bop!

Jam winner. Really cute

Felt like an octopus at the end I was aware of all my arms.

That's a jam winner

That was good, good presentation, good tutorial, good mechanic, good difficulty... all in all... yeah that was good.

The rocket is inconsistent but I really like the presentation and concept.

Cute but the difficulty was too constant.

That was really cute!
