Not that it is a bad tool (I think it's nice), I feel like this tool goes against that philosophy since it handles both journaling and encryption. I think it would have either offloaded encryption to a different utility or left it up to the user if it followed that philosophy.
Honestly I was surprised to find the "locally encrypted journaling tool" space to be pretty niche, which makes sense because most people want the convenience and flexibility of cloud journaling solutions that sync all of your entries and such. Personally I just feel odd keeping any journal in the cloud ("oh you wrote about having anxiety and depression? here's some products we can sell you!", that sort of thing lol) .
