Hello,

I am one of the co-creators of Adventure Jam. I wanted to reach out and notify you that we are going to hide this post and I will be removing your other comments, as we do not endorse the use of AI tools. I do apologize - we didn't have our Discord rules posted/stickied here on the community forums, and that was a huge oversight on our part. The rule that can now be found here reads:

5. Do not mention, share or promote AI tools.  Any messages doing this will be removed. We cannot in good conscience endorse the use of AI tools that were unethically trained on data that was not consensually given. Adventure Jam was created with the intent to bring people together and encourage creativity within the community, and we believe that collaborating with your peers provides a more rewarding and fulfilling experience.

I'm very sorry for any upset this might cause. While we've run Adventure Jam for many years, this is the first year that AI has become as prominent as it has, and we are (unfortunately) learning how navigate it by trial and error.

Apologies once again,

-Cassie

Hi Cassie! Thanks for the explanation. It's a shame but I understand.

Just to be super clear. I have a question.
This "ban" is regarding the promotion of unmentioned tools. not the actual "use" of them within the Jam since no such rule is stated in the main Rules page of the Jam itself.

Correct?
