Thank you!!!

Thank you so much for playing!

Thank you so much!

I'm working on releasing this as a full game.

currently reworking the first act and adding on a ton of locations and proper puzzles.

sneak peek from the start of the summer :)
Commercial District intro test - 2023 06 20 - YouTube

Great you figured it out. Ive reworked the "foot print outside the office" pixel hunt in the next version.

Thak you so much. Yeah im hard at work building this into a complete experience. Reworking most of what is "act 2" to make it flow a bit better and adding a some proper puzzles (lockpicking.. ehrm) and new locations.

thank you again!

Thanks!

Im working on a fully fleshed out version and will be reworking the dialogue a bit to shorten some encounters.

Wow. thank you that is very high praise!

Thank you for your detailed and constructive feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere!
Super happy that you noticed I put some time into fiddling with the smaller details too lol. <3

I appreciate your observations about the writing.  Breaking up longer dialogs into smaller segments is a great suggestion to make them more approachable and engaging. I will also try and differentiate the characters better. I 100% agree that some characters (even unreleased/cut ones) are almost copies of each other.

Thank you again!

Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the game!
I'm truly grateful for your appreciation.

The extended version is definitely in the works!
Rest assured, this won't be my last venture into these genres.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts

very cool concept! I enjoyed this a lot

This is such a great start! I love the idea of the small taste we got being contained in the car. absurd but funny. You are def onto something here! hope you guys finish this!

Thank you! This comment means a lot to me!

Cool plattformer. struggled a bit with the controls at first but got the hang of it pretty quickly!

Great idea and good execution.

A prototype you can definitely build on!

Some new locations are getting added in an upcoming patch.

Thank you! More is coming! <3

Thank you for the kind words, Rise of the Dragon was a big game for me in my youth as well!

Im hard at work on the expanded version! thanks again for playing!

Thanks for playing!

haha yes, I might have gone a bit overboard, but its a first attempt and there are a lot to tune for the upcoming itterations :)

Thanks for the kind words!

I'm working on a proper update as I type this that addresses many of the "polish-issues" such as descriptions and lack of "fun" interactions.

Also looking into reworking how the story is presented to the player. right now its a bit of an information overflow. I need to practice pacing a bit!

Again. Thanks for playing!

use the forensic kit on the rpint

There is a foot print outside the door that fairly hard to see. (sorry)

Fixed the pipe issue!

Hey! I saw your stream (not Live though, sorry) And I could really feel your frustration thru the screen haha. sorry!
I will be updating my hotspots to be visible. I'm also considering adding a "show hotspots" button as a hint system.
That would be the quick fix I guess...
As for the voices. Its a mix.  I have friends that are professional voice actors that did some lines and were also super nice to let me use those already recorded lines to generate new dialogue, (mostly due to time contraints and the time difference between Europe and the US)

Thank you! You are making me blush. And big thanks for the input.

Many have asked for my art process so I will post a post mortem vid about how its achieved later.
It's a lot post processing behind it to make the art maintain a similar level of quality. Basically downscaling and upscaling while limiting the colors to a specific Pallette. You would laugh if you saw some of the "art" before effects are applied haha!

Its also a hefty use of Unitys 2D-light system, particels, shaders and PostFX. I created 2 templates. one for indoor and one for outdoor that Is applied to all Unity scenes.

Thanks for the bug report!

good catch with the change in last name. stressed for time and just churning out voice lines in the last day of the Jam made pronounciations differ between takes.

the rest is more or less attributed to lack of time and Ive added all your feedback to my "to fix list"

Again. Thank you!

I will def keep working on this. I do have a proper ending mapped out that I want to finish!

thank you! dang. I sould really get around to playiung Norco. everyone keeps praising it
But alas! no time now. must review all game sin the Jam!!!

And thaks for the feedback. I agree 100%. I had plans for highlights and stuff but sadly ran out of time.

Great game with a super interesting story!
Well done!

nice twist as well! Hope you do an after jam version too!

Overall a good experience!

Movement and graphics are really smooth. I did run into some dialogue issues wher eI couldnt scroll in lists and stuff. but managed to get thru it!

Great little game. Cool graphics and fun to play. Well done!

Cool concept! and super smooth controls!

Nice work. But I have to agree with other reviewers here.

Great accomplishment but this is not an adventure game.

I will not give you a bad score just because of this though.
as a game its a cool and fun concept! stick with it!

A bit clunky but a cool idea.

Exploring was fun for a bit but was lacking payoff I thought.

I also missed the first couple of lines of dialogue since it was akwardly placed in the top right corner and super tiny. could be a resolution issue.

I get that its a cool little game. It just felt shoe-horned into this Jam where there are other much more suited for this genre.

Cool entry. and super stressful lol!

Wouldnt mind the game pausing when reading text, but it would make the game considerably easier so its a balance I guess.

This was a pleasant surprise! I really really enjoyed this.

Well done!!

Adding voice over to this and you more or less have a commercial product! <3

Cool game but not sure it fits this Jam. this was for me more of an action plattformer.

Very cool project!
