I first tried to play this one four days ago. I thought that the cursor I was supposed to play the game with was the mouse cursor and I couldn't figure out how to make any progress! I assumed it was bugged and came back today to see if it had been updated. Finally today I understood that there was an in-game cursor I could move around, the page description even says to use the keyboard to use it, so I'm very sorry I didn't see that earlier!
It took a while to find all the points of interest. Once I learnt that being in the right area for about three seconds would always indicate that I was on the right track it became more satisfying to play. I let the screenshots lead me astray, I was so certain that the door must be one that I kept going back to it.
The atmosphere is incredible, the monochrome art combined with the ambient sounds work great together and the distraction of the video game works both mechanically and narratively. The 'bad dreams' were both imaginative and horrific, though I didn't understand the one with the child.
Really great work!
