I also learned to use Adventure Creator during AdvJam (back in 2021), so I know how hard it can be to learn a tool and make a game at the same time in such a short window :D good job!

Thanks so much for the reply and for checking out my submission, I had a blast with Adventure Creator, and it's super encouraging to see how far you have come since 2021, I've just played your submission, and it's great love the humour, graphics and gameplay.

It gives me some hope as well as it was my first time using Adventure Creator. I personally find visual scripting less intuitive and more difficult to debug than normal coding.

I'm with you on that one towards the end of the Jam my project was a bit of a mess and it started to become hard figuring out some bugs were speech text would appear when it shouldn't

I used AC for my AdvJam2021 game and found the same issues. In fact, I since switch to PowerQuest, which I can't recommend enough to people more used to coding than visual scripting. All my subsequent games have been made with it.
