Nice little prototype with pleasant artstyle. Was the tree with bear skulls a reference to Finnish paganism? It's a pity that the prototype doesn't have more gameplay mechanics to play around with at this stage. Great experience nonetheless.

Thank you! Yes Finnish paganism is definitely a source of inspiration for the narrative/theme of the game. And yeah, I wish I finished more of the mechanics, creating the procedural generation from scratch took more time than I anticipated and so I didn't leave enough time to complete the actual mechanics, live and learn though. But as for the mechanics I wanted to take a more souls-like approach to checkpoints, using the shrines like bonfires in Dark Souls. I thought that mechanic would be interesting to see when you have these procedurally generated worlds you can explore.
