Definitly not Eyvinds Dad. Eyvind already mentioned that his Dad has been an adventure and became the blacksmith in his village.

However, just like Snow is a fog-representation of Eyvind Dad, and if there are multiple realities, Meko could by a close firend or lover of Eyvind in another reality of another time. We just have to wait and see which character Meko represent.

Or even a demon.

In most fantasy settings it's easier for a caster or ghost to poses something related, like a person with the same name or a relativ/ancester/decendant.

So your idea is sensible that Meko could be a Bull, (western) Dragon or demon.

Meko probably a bear due to a cutscene when you help Thane's dad cleaning the temple, the bear's name is Mikkel which pronounce just like Meko.

If what i wrote above true, Eyvind may will time travel to the past because Meko and his people were the the one live in that temple thousand years ago.
