This game was super cute and I liked Polina's emotional story. Is there a workaround for the bug at the end? I wanted to see how it ended! The controls felt very intuitive, my only real addition would be to let me drag straight from inventory. Feels like the first draft of a mobile game, in a good way, the controls are simple to learn and use! Great job with that design.
Here are the notes I wrote as I played:
evocative title, makes me excited to play, makes me think there will be story
intriguing music, simplistic - combined with the splash art, this game is giving me zen vibes
quit button does not quit, just pauses game
i like the mouseover tooltips
aww polina is a cutie
loving the story. Life grows here <3
gameplay is very intuitive and easy to figure out
clicking on apple seeds next to pack made a set of them spawn on top of goddess
shovel a little tricky to grab
accidentally planted apple seeds before shoveling soil or using compost, missed the dialog options. Highlighting who should be speaking or blocking some controls until dialog has been seen may help
ooh the rich soil looks nice
loving the evolving tooltips, we used similar! simple concept but so easy to convey info
this slide bar on the inventory is slick, love it, especially the little detail of the speckled fade out at the edge. I find myself wanting to drag straight from there, though
unsure what top right green button does
this would make a cute mobile game
i can transform the soil beneath my oops seeds, but it won't turn into sapling :(
bottom two right side plots also can't be planted. oh nvm there was more dialog i missed, was having fun planting lol
ooh nice season change
bucket duplicated itself when I poured the water on the plant
like the water sound effects
suggestion: tooltip update for plant status, like watered apple sapling
oh nooooo bugs!!! shoo
i liked the detail of using ladybugs to kill off pests!
aww winter makes polina sad :( winter music so sad too :(
oh wow they grew! Love the art update! Apple trees didn't spawn though
i don't think I can see the end :(
