For what it's worth, Itch doesn't let you straight-up delete a game that already has buyers. Creators must jump through hoops to do that. I'm not even sure how it can be done; one must first get rid of all downloadable files, in any event. It's a big difference from how easily one can delete a game that nobody ever paid for.

That said, your suggestions are very good and I'll pass them on. Thanks for giving it some thought!

I had a test app that I had some test purchases on. I got it removed by support just by sending them an email. It ought to be a lot more difficult if your game is an actual game in production though..

We likely removed it with no questions asked in support because it was a test app. Generally though we try to block people from deleting things and instruct them to contact owners before permanently removing it.
