Yes, but I've used those in save files for three years and it wasn't a problem during that Duration.

We've disabled usage of special characters in save names since February 2021.
I don't know how yours still work until now, but saves management is handled by the game engine.
There's not much we can do to avoid this.
For me, if you want to be able to launch the game, you have to wipe all your saves with special characters in their name.
