That is a wonderful game jam entry! I love li'l Smoglu! I did notice that the second area has him moving quite a bit faster. Each time you go back to the starting area, the speed goes back to normal.
Additionally, fantastic blog as well! It's funny how many parallels there can be in terms of learning and conclusions even when the art, game and approach to development can be so very different. Keep up the game dev efforts! I look forward to seeing what we all come up with next time, too!
