I love the idea, it's very unique. The game could definitely be expanded, and maybe changed so you "elementalize" the whole platform instead of just a block? Idk, these are just some ideas for improvements, overall good job though!
I did have some ideas I wanted add to my game, like making enemies capable of have elements assigned to them like the "?" blocks. Unfortunately, I ran out of time despite pulling an all nighter.
