So this is actually a functional atari game running in a web emulator? Wow! Big style points for that. Easy to understand and play, I wish there were some sound but I clicked a bunch of the emulator buttons before starting so maybe I broke it? Great job

There was no sound, you didn't break anything. Also, can I say you might have been the first person I encountered (in the jam that is) that understood that. Like it seems like most people didn't understand this is actually coded using Batari Basic for Atari Games, so even though this thanks may not be the most logically sound thanks for knowing that and/or figuring it out.

I'll have to look into Batari Basic, I'm assuming its not far off from just assembly. I'm sure it wasn't easy to crank out a whole game in 48 hours that runs on such ancient hardware.

Actually, Batari Basic is very easy, but due to my currently limited skills, ancient hardware limitations, not having the whole time due to religious reasons, and not going to ruin my health and/or risk anything near submission time plus possibly other things, it turned out to be this (though I can be lazy sometimes as well). Actually, the jam caught me during a time where I was figuring out what to make with more complex art and stuff, so it took away the chance of me being able to make a game with better visuals though if it was later maybe it still would have been looking similar to this.

Here's a link to the IDE and potentially something in Batari Basic: 8bitworkshop IDE
