Finally someone improved chess! An interesting idea, although I was having a hard time wrapping my head around the rules. I'm also not exactly sure what I did to lose. My other suggestion would be to show the animation of the piece moving before swapping the viewing angle to the other side of the board, as I would have a hard time seeing exactly what my piece just did, especially with some of the more interesting synergies. That being said, it could be a really interesting puzzle game, and I appreciated the cohesive tone the art style and sound effects gave the game. Well done!

I agree with the fact that adding animations will improve a lot on what happened, what changed, etc… The fact that I’ve drop the first project (not satisfied with it) after the first 20 hours, and begun with this one didn’t helped. However, I will still update it, as an open source project, after the Jam to make it at least playable, and also implement the few missing ideas.
