Playing Dead Gods for the first time. We had two games under 2:15 hours!

Treasure Hunters v Orc Raiding Party faced each other in a ruined dungeon.

For the first game, we used 4 v 4 minis, and the archers proved a great asset.

For the second game we used 4 v 6 minis (I replaced some orcs with peasants to try them out). Again, archers in a vantage point proved deadly to peasants that, being so wounded by the end, auto-exploded on activation.

Overall, we liked the game very much, fast to play and fun. You can have a mini-tournament in a couple of hours without a problem, although it would require standardizing certain rules that are not clearly defined in the text. We found some editing issues and feel the rules could be a bit clearer in some aspects without losing its rules-light philosophy.

We will be playing again.

Table looks great!

Having lots of concealing terrain are a absolute must use, especially against shooting heavy warbands.

Yeah, it needs some houserules here and there, but for me the simplicity was one of the buying points.
