AFAIK there should be no major issues to use or adapt these plugins, but I cannot say so with 100% certainty because I still haven't got to test the newest edition.
I would guess that if there is something incompatible, it should be easy to adapt because of the simplicity of the CBR+PNK / FitD systems.
